About Us:
Multicultural Families Organisation (MFO) is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation supporting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) individuals and families. We deliver innovative programs across domestic violence, settlement, NDIS, youth mentoring, certificate training and education.
We are proud recipients of federal funding to deliver STOP. THINK. CHANGE., a ground-breaking project that aims to prevent tech-based abuse in multicultural communities through education, early intervention, and behavioural change.
The Role:
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Program Manager to lead the delivery of this unique project. You will oversee planning, implementation, stakeholder engagement, workshop delivery, and evaluation across South-East Queensland. This role will suit someone who thrives in community leadership, has experience managing social impact programs, and is committed to preventing gender-based violence.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead project planning, delivery and reporting in line with grant objectives and KPIs
· Engage community, faith, youth and school leaders to design education workshops
· Manage a small team including a project support officer and community language facilitators
· Oversee development of multilingual educational resources and social media campaigns
· Monitor project impact, coordinate external evaluation, and program reports
· Liaise with key partners including DFV agencies, local services and multicultural organisations
About You:
· Relevant qualifications in community development, social work, or a related field
· Demonstrated experience managing community programs or grant-funded initiatives
· Strong understanding of family, domestic and tech-based abuse, particularly in CALD contexts
· Proven leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
· Ability to work flexibly, travel across delivery locations, and represent MFO publicly
· Lived experience or strong understanding of multicultural communities highly regarded
