We are currently seeking passionate and keen Community Development Officer to join our PCYC Inala Youth Club. This casual role offers approximately 15 hours per week, generally across Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons, with common finish times around 7pm. It would suit an applicant who is regularly available during these times to support the delivery of Drop In, After Dark, and Team Up programs.If you are enthusiastic and have a gusto for increasing youth involvement in programs and events, then we want you!

Your New Role
Reporting to the Youth Club Manager, your role as a Community Development Officer is to develop, promote, implement and evaluate community programs to engage local participants. This position cultivates positive outcomes and opportunities both personally and as a community. About You
- Minimum Certificate III in youth work, community development/welfare, human services or related discipline or equivalent level of experience in social and community sector
- Experience in undertaking youth related activities
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in undertaking youth related activities (preferred)
- Hold a light rigid driver’s licence and a Restricted Drivers' Authority (or ability to obtain)
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
