Gunn Freight specialises in Agricultural and Industrial machinery logistics Australia wide. We are the exclusive transport provider for CNHi (Case NewHolland Industrial) who combined, are the largest market share holders in Australia for agricultural equipment, and have a large stake in the industrial machinery sector in their product range.

We are currently seeking a dynamic person to join our WA operations, based in Wattleup to be part of all day to day operations.

This full time role offers daily challenges and would be suited to someone with a sharp logistical mind to satisfy our customers' requests.

About the role;

Scheduling local and interstate machinery movements Ex WA to numerous locations throughout Australia

Co-ordinate deliveries inline with our major customers' needs to service their dealers and provide quality service outcomes

Co-ordinate driver's workloads in accordance with Standard and BFM systems and processes

Need an ability to work in a team, namely Gunn Freight staff based around Australia to deliver KPI targets for our customers

The successful applicant will need to have the following knowledge and skills;

A minimum of 2 years' experience in a transport environment, ideally in a logistics operational role

Good knowledge of Australian geography

Proven understanding of Fatigue Management, Mass Management and Chain of Responsibility

Sound Microsoft Office skills including excel

High level communication skills, both written and verbal

High Risk Forklift Licence

HC Truck Licence

MSIC (an advantage), however it will be required to be obtained soon after commencement of employment

Knowledge of RORO wharf operations (an advantage)
