This is a contracted role and will be renumerated to your level of experience and expertise.

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner registration (or higher) with a Practitioner ID issued by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

Possess a relevant allied health tertiary degree in Psychology or Social Work,

Demonstrate strong report-writing skills.

Have proficiency in computer systems.

Exhibit excellent time management skills.

Have at least 2 years of experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner

Be able to work independently

Key Responsibilities

· Develop personalised Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans

· Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments

· Utilize a variety of assessment tools to evaluate behaviour and gather relevant information

· Collaborate with families and stakeholders to enhance participant outcomes

· Ensure exceptional communication and rapport is built with the participant and stakeholders

· Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards and regulations

· Provide training and support for participants and their support/stakeholder collaboration

· Implement data collection measures to monitor progress

· Document and report the use of restrictive practices

· Maintain accurate case notes
