Aurora Allied Services is a NDIS registered behaviour support and psychology provider looking for skilled Registered Behaviour Support Practitioners/ and or Psychologists living in Melbourne and throughout regional Victoria to join our PBS VIC team. Our vision is to support neurodivergent and disabled individuals to thrive in an authentic way.
What You’ll Do
Conduct neuroaffirming and trauma informed assessments.
Develop individualised strengths-based person-centred behaviour support plans.
Ensure all practices comply with NDIS quality and safeguarding standards.
What We’re Looking For
Neuroaffirming approach to work. Accepting and supportive of authenticity of clients and families.
Strong advocates for our clients, promoting neurodivergent- affirming environments.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, empathetic approach.
Work closely and regularly with clients, teams and families.
Regular face-to-face visits to build strong therapeutic relationships.
You’re skilled in identifying Restrictive Practices and developing Interim Plans within NDIS timeframes.
Essential- Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission- Proficient (or higher).
Essential- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
You hold relevant undergraduate qualifications (e.g., Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Education, Social Work, or Counselling).
Postgraduate qualifications are a plus, but not essential.
Essential- You hold a current driver’s license and have access to a roadworthy vehicle.
Essential- You have current NDIS Worker Screening and a Working with Children Check.
Essential- ABN + Professional indemnity and liability insurance (by commencement date).
