Project Coordinator

Based in the South Coast region of Western Australia, South Coast Natural Resource Management is an independent, community-based organisation that provides leadership and expertise in natural resource management, conservation, sustainability, and community capacity. Our vision for the region is ‘Thriving and diverse communities where nature is valued, protected and restored’ We acknowledge and work collaboratively with Noongar First Nations people and organisations across the region.

We’re hiring a Project Coordinator to oversee and contribute to a variety of environmental and agricultural-focused projects. The successful candidate will handle project management tasks, deliver fieldwork and monitoring activities, coordinate communications and events, and foster strong relationships with partners and stakeholders. To excel in this role, the successful applicant should bring demonstrated experience in project coordination, fieldwork, and event and stakeholder management, along with excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.

The role requires an experienced individual with strong project management skills. We require a Project Coordinator who is skilled at working with people and can take project plans to successful implementation.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, collaborative, and solutions focused.

This is an opportunity to contribute to protecting and enhancing one of the most biodiverse parts of the world, working alongside Traditional Owners, Farmers and the local community whilst furthering your own career with one of Australia’s leading natural resource management organisations.

The position will be based in Albany, WA and is offered at 1.0FTE for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension.
