About Us:

Sunshine Coast FC manages elite sports teams and operations in both Australia and the UK. We are committed to excellence both on and off the field and are looking for a skilled finance professional to help manage the financial health of our growing enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities and currencies (AUD & GBP).

• Process accounts payable/receivable and perform bank reconciliations.

• Assist with monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Prepare BAS/VAT and other tax obligations in accordance with local regulations.

• Manage payroll processes in conjunction with the finance manager and HR platforms.

• Support inter-company transactions and reconciliations.

• General financial administration duties in other entities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in an accounts/admin or bookkeeping role (3+ years preferred).

• Proficiency with Xero (3+ years preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Understanding of accounting principles in both Australia and the UK desirable.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across time zones.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

• Experience working in the sports, entertainment, or not-for-profit sectors.

• Knowledge of payroll systems and international employment regulations.

• Formal accounting or bookkeeping qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV Accounting and Bookkeeping).
