Would you like to sell high quality Japanese knives and cookware to discerning customers?

One minute you will be recommending a $200 - $1000 chef knife or sashimi knife. The next minute you will be describing how to use charcoal for a new Japanese barbeque or putting together a selection of Japanese sake for a customer's dinner party.

A one of a kind retail role with products you can truly be proud of.

This is a part time permanent role working 31 hours per week at our Richmond store, to replace one of our valued staff who is leaving after 8.5 years.

Your Role

As a Chef's Armoury team member you will be comfortable stepping out from behind the counter with face to face retail sales.

Your job is to find, recommend and sell the ideal product(s) for each customer.

Do you enjoy having conversations with customers and giving them the best advice?

Are you able to learn and memorise key product knowledge quickly? Yes ... studying in detail about products will be compulsory in order to give the right information to the customer. You will be given time to study on the job. But if you think you have a bad memory this will not be the right job for you.

Comprehensive training will be provided to build your skills for your career.

Must be available Saturdays

5 days per week Tuesday to Saturday

About you

Maybe you have worked in retail, FOH Hospo or are looking for a change. Whatever your background, you need to bring a passion to learn and an engaging personality.
