Retail + E-Commerce Assistant (Fashion Eyewear, Hourly)

Shade Files Eyewear is a multi-brand eyewear retailer and online business, representing some of the worlds best emerging and independent eyewear brands, based in the vibrant Greville St precinct area. As the business continues to expand, we are seeking multiple retail and e-commerce assistants to help support the team on a casual basis.

The role will start with 2-3 days per week (including weekends) helping with both online and in-store sales & fulfilment. Applicants must have retail, sales or customer service experience & be tech literate.

Following an onboarding stage, the position has the potential to grow into something more permanent for the right fit.

Roles & Responsibilities

Fulfil online orders and oversee couriers

Serve in-store customers and help with enquiries

Help customers over phone or email

Provide friendly and knowledgeable support

Maintain the overall appearance & cleanliness of the shop.

Receive and manage incoming stock

Requirements

Retail experience

Possess a friendly and outgoing can-do attitude!

A real team player, working together in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Computer & email skills to help with online orders and enquiries

Interest in fashion and aesthetics

Flexible schedule; must be available to work both Saturdays and Sundays and 1-2 days during the week to start

Comfortable working both alone and with others

Bonus

Some knowledge of optical retail would be a bonus, but otherwise an interest in learning about it is required.
