We’re currently partnering with a well-established and reputable Civil Construction group based in East Melbourne, VIC known for delivering high-quality civil, commercial, and residential projects across Victoria. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work and a commitment to innovation and excellence, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Civil Estimator to join their dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates across civil, commercial, and residential projects

Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project scope

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather pricing

Produce detailed cost breakdowns, budgets, and cashflow forecasts

Support end-to-end tendering processes including submissions and clarifications

Identify value engineering opportunities and potential cost savings

Contribute to the implementation of new estimating software and cost control systems

Requirements:

10+ years' estimating experience in civil, commercial, and residential construction

Strong knowledge of civil works (earthworks, drainage, infrastructure)

Proven experience in commercial and premium residential builds

Proficiency with estimating software and advanced Excel skills

Exposure to project accounting systems and cost databases

High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
