We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator to join our dynamic and friendly team.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Estimator with a background in Commercial Furniture and joinery to take ownership of a diverse range of projects. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for bespoke items of commercial Furniture, soft furnishings and small to medium sized commercial projects, consulting closely with clients and our internal teams.
You will thrive in this role if you are initiative-taking, meticulous, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment where your input directly contributes to project success.
Key Responsibilities
· Interpret architectural plans and specifications to prepare accurate estimates.
· Help in the development of new and innovative estimating templates and techniques.
· Help to establish systems and guidelines to facilitate Customer service and sales staff perform basic quotes.
· Receive, prepare, and submit tenders for commercial projects.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
· Collaborate with internal teams including design, production, and site supervisors.
Skills & Experience
· Experience in joinery estimating is essential.
· Strong knowledge of Joinery methods, materials, and industry standards
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
· Excellent communication, time management, and negotiation skills
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
· Experience with Pcon, AutoCAD, or similar drafting software preferred.
· Familiarity project coordination tasks.
