THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a pivotal Estimating position, offering involvement in major tenders cost planning, and strategic input into submissions. Ideal for:

• Mid-level Estimators from Tier 1 and 2 (relevant) environments ready to step up and gain more visibility as a senior estimator / future leader
• Or experienced Estimators from already tier 3 & 4 builders wanting to work on bigger, more ambitious projects

THE DAY TO DAY

• Leading competitive and negotiated tender submissions
• End-to-end cost planning, value engineering, and first principles estimating
• Engaging directly with subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Supporting bid strategies, scope breakdowns, and cost analysis
• Optional mentoring of junior team members
• Assisting with post-tender negotiations and project handovers

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• 5+ years career experience as an Estimator working for Commercial Builder (onshore VIC projects)
• Exposure to apartments, education, or broader commercial projects
• Strong grasp of Buildsoft, CostX, or similar software
• A commercial mindset with sharp attention to detail
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related
• Full Australian working rights (no VISA sponsorships for this role)
