We’re expanding our team at Techknow IT and are on the lookout for an enthusiastic IT Support & Services Specialist. Whether your passion lies in helping business clients thrive or supporting home users with their everyday technology needs — we want to hear from you!

Please note: this role is only open to applicants who currently live in, or are relocating to, Port Macquarie, NSW.

You may already have experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or business IT environment, or perhaps you’ve been delivering great tech support in the home services space and are ready to take the next step. Either way, if you love technology, solving problems, and working with people — this is your opportunity.

Business IT Specialist – Ideal Background

Experience in an MSP or fast-paced IT services/support environment

Level 1–2 technical support across a range of business clients

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Excellent time-management and coordination abilities

Experience working with Microsoft business environments (Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows Server, etc.)

Exposure to cloud phone systems and business-grade networking

Home IT Services Specialist – Ideal Background

Experience recommending, supplying, and setting up new computers, phones, and tablets

Skilled in new device setup, data transfer, and software configuration

Confident troubleshooting hardware and software issues for home users

Excellent communicator in person, over the phone, and via email

Comfortable with home tech such as smart TVs, cameras, speakers, modems, printers, and more

Team player with initiative, able to follow instructions and work independently

Keen to learn and potentially grow into business IT services
