We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Product Development professional to join our team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end development of innovative dietary supplements and functional food products for the Australian and Asia-Pacific markets. The successful candidate will lead formulation projects, ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks (TGA and FSANZ), and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to bring commercially viable products to market.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new products that align with both internal strategic objective and commercial requirements. with a particular focus on complementary medicines and functional food products compliant with TGA and FSANZ regulations.

Lead the formulation and development of new supplement products and food products, ensuring scientific integrity, quality, and product innovation.

Improve formulations and processes of existing products to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and execution.

Manage the complete product development lifecycle using Gate process-from brief, develop and commercial launch.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure project execution.

Collaborate with external suppliers to identify and evaluate high-quality raw materials and ingredients that support product innovation and enhance competitive advantage.

Providing technical and ingredient information to deliver innovative product concepts, unique product positioning, and technical innovation

Conduct professional research and competitive product analysis to support strategic product planning and provide technical expertise across the brand portfolio.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical, Chemistry, Nutrition, Food Science or related

Minimum 3+ years’ experience in product development within supplements, functional foods.

In depth understanding of TGA and FSANZ.

Strong research skills with knowledge of relevant databases

Australian Local Experiences Required.

Strong time management skills and attention to details.

Strong relationship skills with the ability to build rapport across different internal departments and external stakeholders.
