About the Role

Infinity22 is expanding and seeking a skilled R&D Tax Incentive and Grants Consultant with at least 4 years of experience across multiple industries—including but not limited to technology, engineering, manufacturing, health, agriculture, and professional services.

You will help clients access key funding programs such as the R&D Tax Incentive, Export Market Development Grant (EMDG), and state and federal innovation/commercialisation grants.

This is a flexible role with the option to work:

From our offices in Fortitude Valley (Queensland) or Melbourne (Victoria), OR

Remotely from anywhere in Australia

Key Responsibilities

Identify eligible R&D and grant activities across diverse sectors

Prepare compelling technical documentation and justification reports

Manage and lodge R&D and grant applications (e.g., EMDG, Accelerating Commercialisation)

Advise clients on compliance, record-keeping, and audit readiness

Collaborate with advisory, accounting, and CFO teams on integrated strategies

We're Looking For

4+ years’ experience preparing and lodging R&D and/or grant applications across a range of industries

In-depth knowledge of the R&D Tax Incentive program and AusIndustry/ATO compliance expectations

Clear, professional writing skills to document technical or operational activities

Comfortable working across sectors like tech, engineering, manufacturing, health, agri-tech, and services

Ability to independently manage deadlines and multiple projects

Bonus: Experience with EMDG, CSIRO, state funding bodies, or innovation agencies

Qualifications in accounting, law, science, engineering, or related fields are advantageous
