Role opportunity
In this dynamic position, you'll work with the CEO and President to provide high-level executive and strategic support, helping drive organisational priorities and strengthen our relationships with members, government and key stakeholders.
In this role you will:
Prepare and review complex briefings, reports, submissions and presentations to support informed decision-making.
Provide strategic advice, analysis and executive coordination to advance organisational priorities.
Coordinate major initiatives and projects, monitoring progress and reporting on outcomes.
Support diary and calendar management, monitor incoming correspondence and emails, and coordinate logistics for travel, meetings and events.
Oversee financial and administrative tasks, including credit card acquittals and records management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Foster strong relationships across the executive leadership team, Board, member councils and key stakeholders.
Lead and manage the operations of the CEO's Office, ensuring seamless delivery of high-level executive functions.
About you
You'll bring exceptional judgement, political and organisational awareness, and a proactive mindset. As a trusted advisor, confident communicator and skilled problem solver you will thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy working across all levels of stakeholders, from executive leaders to members and external partners.
You will need:
Significant experience (5+ years) providing high-level executive or Board support.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present complex information with clarity.
Strong organisational and administrative capabilities, including managing schedules, correspondence, records and financial processes.
Strong relationship management skills and proven ability to work with senior leaders, Boards and external stakeholders.
Tertiary qualifications in business, public administration, law, or a related discipline.
Experience in or understanding of government or the public sector is desirable.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
