At Dedes Waterfront Group our philosophy is simple – Impeccable service, great food and exceed guest expectations. We are currently looking for an Assistant Venue Manager to join our dedicated senior team across our Watergrill location at the Sydney Rowing Club, Abbotsford.

To be a successful in this exciting position we require the following:

2-3 years experience in a floor-based, hands-on guest experience role across cafe & casual dining service

Good communication skills – both verbal and written

Excellent eye for detail

Ability to work both autonomously and as a team. including venue manager

Demonstrated problem-solving skills

Conflict management

Hold a current RSA and clear understanding of related obligations

A passion for food and beverage

Valid driver’s licence and own transport (preferred)

Time management skills

Experience with staff allocation and rostering

Excellent personal presentation

Be a mature, reliable and passionate motivator

Ability to develop relationships with a wide range of clients and suppliers

Be highly organised with the ability to think on your feet

Organising stocktake and ordering weekly provisions from suppliers

Demonstrate versatility
