About the Role

Colbros Electrical Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee and manage all on-site electrical activities on our minor works construction projects across the commercial and infrastructure sectors.

This role requires a motivated individual who ensures all electrical installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with AS/NZS 3000, project specifications, and WHS legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all on-site electrical works, subcontractors, and labour teams

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards

Manage material deliveries and procurement for site needs

Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications

Ensure full compliance with AS/NZS 3000 and other applicable standards

Conduct regular site inspections and monitor WHS compliance

Liaise with clients, project managers, consultants, and other trades

Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems

Maintain accurate daily site records, logs, and timesheets

Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and enforce WHS policies

Troubleshoot issues that may affect project timelines or quality

What We’re Looking For

Current Electrical Licence (NSW or relevant state)

Minimum 5+ years in a supervisory or site management role

Proven experience delivering commercial or infrastructure projects

Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000, electrical codes, and safety regulations

Effective communication and leadership skills

Construction White Card

Valid Driver’s Licence

Ability to read electrical schematics and construction drawings

Experience using digital site tools (e.g. Procore, Aconex)

Desirable Qualifications

Certificate IV or Diploma in Project/Construction Management

High Risk Work Licences (EWP, Forklift, etc.)

LVR/CPR & First Aid certifications
