Our NFP client is seeking a people first HR professional with a strong knowledge of employee relations to join their close-knit team located in Brisbane’s inner-city suburbs.

About the Role

As a key member of the People & Culture team, you’ll partner with leaders across their services to deliver high quality hands on HR support. Your expertise will focus on employee relations providing practical advice on workplace matters including performance management and investigations while supporting the full employee lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to influence a positive workplace culture, coach managers, and contribute to strategic people initiatives in a purpose-led organisation dedicated to the growth and wellbeing of children and families.

The role

Partner with leaders to provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management and dispute resolution.

Coach and support managers on workplace issues, performance concerns, and compliance.

Contribute to employee engagement, diversity, and wellbeing initiatives.

Actively support culture and change initiatives aligned with the strategic vision.

What You’ll Bring

HR qualifications or a related discipline.

Demonstrated experience in a generalist or advisor level HR role with strong employee relations knowledge.

Indepth understanding of modern awards, enterprise agreements, and employment law.

Experience in early education, or a related sector (highly regarded).

Flexibility to travel to local sites within the Brisbane region when required

Valid Driver’s Licence, Blue Card (Working with Children Check), and Police Check.
