Ischia Restaurant

Ischia Restaurant is an Italian restaurant serving traditional dishes and authentic woodfired pizza in the laid-back surroundings of Beaufort Street in Highgate and Claisebrook in Perth.

We are currently looking for qualified and talented chefs and cooks to join our kitchen team.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

Ensure food preparation and presentation adheres to company standards.

Work efficiently within the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service and food to guests.

Demonstrate an understanding of food, hygiene and safety principles.

Adhere to House policies and procedures, including OH&S legislation.

Skills and Experience:

Related cookery qualifications are preferred and or at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience

Meticulous and have a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Safe and accurate knife skills

Experience in pizza making

Knowledge and experience of a variety of different cooking methods

Flexibility with working hours including evening and weekends.
