We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our IT team and support the day-to-day performance, security, and reliability of our internal systems.

Location: Ingleburn, NSW
Salary: $75,000-$85,000

Role: Full time

Main Duties

Monitor, maintain, and secure internal network infrastructure

Troubleshoot network and staff device issues to minimise downtime

Create and manage network documentation and configurations

Manage user accounts, set access permissions, and enforce network usage and security policies

Perform regular backups and test system restorations

Plan and implement network upgrades, downgrades, and expansions

Liaise with vendors to source network equipment and services

Apply and monitor network security measures, including vulnerability patching and compliance with IT policies and cybersecurity standards

Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate system changes and updates

Skills and Experience:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in network administration and IT support in a similar business setting

Skilled in monitoring, maintaining, and securing internal network infrastructure

Strong ability to troubleshoot network and hardware issues across multiple devices

Proficient in developing and enforcing network usage and security policies

Experienced in creating, updating, and maintaining network documentation

Knowledge of system backups, data restoration, and business continuity procedures

Capable of planning and implementing network upgrades, downgrades, and expansions

Experienced in working with external vendors to source network solutions and services

Strong understanding of patch management and proactive security monitoring

Effective communicator with experience coordinating technical changes with management
