About the Role

We’re seeking a highly capable Senior Product Manager – Hardware to lead the development of next-generation consumer electronics products for creators worldwide. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role responsible for taking products from early concept through manufacturing and market launch, working across wireless microphones, video devices, and other professional-grade creator tools.

You’ll be the glue between engineering, design, manufacturing, and commercial teams - turning high-level ideas into clear, actionable plans and driving execution in a fast-paced, founder-led environment. This role is ideal for a product leader with strong consumer electronics experience who thrives on ambiguity, can navigate technical complexity, and is motivated by shipping products that empower millions of creators globally.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Delivery

• Lead the end-to-end development of hardware products, from ideation and early concept validation to prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and global release.
  
  
• Translate high-level briefs into detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), user stories, feature specifications, logic flows, and functional requirements.
  
  
• Balance innovation, manufacturability, and time-to-market to deliver high-quality products at pace.
  
  

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Engineering: Mechanical, electrical, firmware teams
  
  
• Industrial Design & UX: Ensuring seamless usability and user experience.
  
  
• Manufacturing & Procurement: Close collaboration with internal production teams and external suppliers to manage tooling, component sourcing, and build readiness.
  
  
• Sales & Marketing: In later project stages to ensure effective go-to-market strategy.
  
  

• Act as the central point of coordination between:
  
  
• Engage external engineering consultants or vendors where necessary to accelerate delivery.
  
  

Customer-Centric Approach

• Advocate for creator needs and market trends throughout the development process, ensuring products resonate with both professional and mass-market users.
  
  
• Leverage feedback from beta programs and real-world usage to inform iterations and future releases.

• Bring structure and best practice from your experience while maintaining speed and flexibility.
  
  
• Adapt to late-stage product decisions or direction changes driven by founder or leadership input.

Success in the First 6 - 12 Months

• Deliver one or more priority hardware programs to clear milestones despite resource constraints and competing priorities.
  
  
• Establish yourself as the “go-to” person who can bring clarity to ambiguous briefs and push products over the finish line.
  
  
• Build technical fluency in audio, video, and wireless device categories to effectively challenge engineering decisions and make trade-offs.
  
  
• Begin contributing to process improvements that enhance speed, quality, and cross-team alignment.
  
  
• Potentially take on mentorship or leadership responsibilities for other PMs as the team scales.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 5 - 10+ years of experience delivering consumer electronics or hardware products, ideally with wireless, audio, video, or IoT devices.
  
  
• Strong technical acumen; not necessarily an engineer but able to go toe-to-toe with engineering teams on specifications, constraints, and problem-solving.
  
  
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs and navigate manufacturing challenges.
  
  
• Comfortable working with founder-led product direction, changing priorities, and fast decision cycles.
  
  
• Hands-on and pragmatic—able to work autonomously, unblock issues, and drive progress without heavy process support.
  
  
• Collaborative communicator who builds strong relationships across engineering, manufacturing, design, and commercial teams.
