Product Manager – Deposits and Payments

Own the full product lifecycle of business banking products in a role that gives you clear scope, strong cross-functional support and real commercial impact. This is a permanent position within the business banking arm of a well-established Australian financial services group, based in Sydney with hybrid flexibility.

You’ll lead business banking deposit and payment products from ideation to BAU, shaping strategy, pricing and delivery with input from digital, data, design, engineering and sales. The work is complex but clear. Your decisions will be driven by insight and grounded in data for optimal customer and business outcomes.

What you’ll do:

• Shape, manage and execute deposit and payment products through all lifecycle stages
• Translate market insight and internal data into pricing and margin strategy
• Partner across risk, regulatory, tech and commercial teams to deliver product changes
• Lead initiatives using Agile tools and structured delivery frameworks

What you’ll bring:

• 3–5 years of end-to-end product management experience in banking or payments
• Strong data fluency and Excel capability to support commercially sound decisions
• Experience working across pricing, design, development and stakeholder groups
• Clear, confident communication and a hands-on, proactive mindset
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA (advantageous)
