About the Role We are seeking a highly technical and experienced Principal Product Manager to lead the development of a next-generation suite of connected software tools for creators worldwide. This role sits at the intersection of hardware and software, defining and delivering mobile, desktop, and cloud applications that integrate with professional audio and video devices used by millions of content creators globally.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining strategic vision, technical depth, and strong execution skills. You will shape the software ecosystem for products trusted by podcasters, musicians, streamers, filmmakers, and broadcasters - transforming complex media workflows into seamless, intuitive user experiences.

This is an opportunity to join a high-growth, founder-led organisation with a strong manufacturing and engineering culture, where you can directly influence product direction, improve processes, and deliver innovative solutions at speed.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Vision

  • Own the roadmap for cross-platform software applications (mobile iOS/Android, desktop macOS/Windows, and cloud-based services).

  • Define the long-term vision for creator-focused workflows, ensuring tools integrate seamlessly with hardware devices and enhance the overall ecosystem.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML for real-time audio/video processing, wireless control, and automated content creation.

Execution & Delivery

  • Translate high-level ideas into clear product requirements, user stories, and specifications for engineering teams.

  • Manage interdependencies between hardware launches, firmware updates, and companion app releases.

  • Ensure timely delivery of reliable, high-quality software releases aligned with hardware product timelines.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Act as the bridge between software engineering, firmware, hardware PMs, UX/UI design, and manufacturing teams.

  • Work closely with external development partners where needed to unblock delivery bottlenecks.

  • Mentor other PMs and contribute to building out a scalable software product management discipline.

Customer Advocacy & Data-Driven Decisions

  • Engage directly with professional creators to understand workflows and pain points from capture to editing and publishing.

  • Use analytics, customer feedback, and market research to drive prioritisation and product improvements.

  • Advocate for user-centric design principles to deliver intuitive, reliable, and high-performing software tools.

Success in the First 6–12 Months

  • Deliver improvements to existing apps and firmware integrations that have measurable impact on creator experience and adoption.

  • Establish lightweight but effective processes for software development in a traditionally hardware-led organisation.

  • Build trust across engineering, design, and leadership by demonstrating ability to bring clarity and execution to complex, ambiguous initiatives.

  • Help shape the long-term direction of the software ecosystem, setting a foundation for future team growth and leadership opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Embedded systems and firmware

  • APIs and third-party integrations

  • Real-time audio/video processing and wireless connectivity

  • Cloud services and low-latency streaming technologies

  • 8–15 years of experience in software product management, ideally within consumer technology, connected devices, or creative tools.

  • Proven track record shipping cross-platform applications with hardware integration (mobile, desktop, cloud).

  • Deep technical understanding of:

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to influence diverse stakeholders.

  • Experience in content creation, streaming, podcasting, or audio/video production workflows is highly desirable.

  • A startup mindset - comfortable with ambiguity, fast-changing priorities, and founder-driven decision-making, while introducing scalable process improvements.

Why Join

  • Play a pivotal role in building a next-generation software ecosystem for millions of creators globally.

  • High visibility and ownership in a flat organisation where great ideas are quickly implemented.

  • Opportunity to shape the future of connected creative tools, working closely with cutting-edge hardware products.

  • Competitive salary and benefits package, alongside professional development opportunities.
