Approach Consulting have partnered with a National Project Management Consultancy to search for a Senior Project Manager to step into a strategic leadership role, overseeing a diverse portfolio of retail, commercial and industrial projects across NSW.

You'll be the go-to person for a key client account, guiding project delivery, mentoring a growing team, and driving quality outcomes across multiple projects at any one time.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and manage a portfolio of projects from concept through to completion.
• Be the key liaison for a major national client, managing stakeholder relationships and expectations.
• Mentor and guide a team of Project Managers, APMs and Coordinators.
• Oversee all reporting, programming, budgeting, cost planning and risk management activities.
• Chair weekly meetings and drive project governance (PCGs, status reports, cost reviews etc.).
• Lead procurement processes, contract negotiation, value engineering and design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental systems, and drive continuous improvement.

About you:

• Proven experience delivering complex projects across logistics, commercial and/or retail sectors - 8+ years
• Strong leadership skills – comfortable overseeing teams and managing client relationships.
• Able to juggle multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality and detail.
• Experienced in cost management, construction contracts and programme planning.
• Comfortable managing both day-to-day delivery and broader strategic portfolio oversight.
• Strong communication, reporting and presentation skills.
