RESTAURANT AND BAR MANAGER - UNION BRIDGE ON FRANKLIN

The new and upgraded “Union Bridge on Franklin '' in the Adelaide CBD, incorporating one of Adelaide's newest restauarants "1836" has now opened its doors and we are looking for a full time RESTAURANT AND BAR Manager with a love of South Australian food and craft beverages.

About Union Bridge
Union Bridge is a locally owned brewery and distillery nestled in Cudlee Creek in the Adelaide Hills. We produce our own Gin, Vodka, Brandy, kegged and bottled Beer, Alcoholic Sodas and mixers. We also have a pipeline of new and exciting products to be launched in the next few months.
Known for our high quality food and beverages, we offer a unique experience for our customers, presenting house produced food and drinks in an inviting and relaxed atmosphere. Our aim is to bring this same experience to the city via our newest venture - Union Bridge on Franklin.
The Role
This role offers a unique opportunity in developing our newly opened restaurant "1836" developing our team and implementing systems and procedures to ensure successestablishing a new restaurant and bar experience, building a team and implementing systems and procedures to ensure success.
As RESTAURANT AND BAR Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our restaurant and bar, whilst working with the Executive Chef to ensure efficient service, staff management, and maintaining the high standards that reflect our brand. The successful applicant will not only be an experienced hospitality operator with a passion for customer service and team management, but will also bring creative ideas to help the venue reach its full potential.
Your key focus will be to drive customer experience through excellent product knowledge, tailored service and attention to detail in presentation of the venue, creating the right ambience and development of a range of cocktails. This is very much a hands on role.
Reporting directly to the Directors, the RESTAURANT AND BAR Manager will be motivated and ambitious with a vibrant personality to join the team and contribute to our vision of excellence.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience in Bar and Restaurant operations is essential.
At least 2 years' experience as a FOH Manager or similar within the hospitality industry.
Able to develop and implement strategies to engage with the local community, drive foot traffic, and retain loyal customers.
Participate as a member of the senior management team, contributing to business planning and strategic initiatives.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Contribute to the development and execution of promotional events and programs.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with an engaging and energetic personality and a passion for hospitality.
Have a high standard of personal presentation.
Marketing experience will be highly regarded.
