RESTAURANT MANAGER – GLENELG, SOUTH AUSTRALIA

We are now seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to join our team.

Position Overview

The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, leading the team, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience for our guests. This is a full-time role ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a background in hospitality management.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage day-to-day front and back-of-house operations

· Supervise and train staff to deliver exceptional customer service

· Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety standards

· Handle rostering, timesheets, and performance management

· Maintain inventory, place orders, and liaise with suppliers

· Monitor budgets, sales targets, and profitability

· Address customer feedback and resolve issues professionally

· Collaborate with kitchen team to maintain food quality and service standards

· Working with chef and kitchen staff for checking the level stock of goods, meats, veggies, and order with suppliers.

Skills and Experience Required:

· Minimum 2 years of full-time experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a supervisory hospitality role

· Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a busy restaurant environment

· Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

· Knowledge of food safety, WHS, and hospitality compliance requirements

· Experience in rostering, stock control, and budgeting

· Relevant hospitality qualifications are desirable

Salary and Conditions:

Annual Salary: $72,000-$77,000 + Superannuation

Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)

Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
