Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with a leading, family-run property developer that’s been shaping communities across Victoria and NSW for over two decades. With a reputation for quality, integrity, and innovation, they’re on the hunt for an experienced and detail-driven Accountant to join their team.

This role will have you working closely with the Financial Controller and CFO, overseeing all things payables, receivables, reconciliations and reporting — particularly across construction and development entities. You’ll also liaise with key internal stakeholders, external accountants, and manage offshore support staff.

What do you do?

• Review construction invoices for accuracy & alignment with supplier terms
• Investigate costs at a project level and identify anomalies
• Reconcile supplier statements & bank accounts
• Prepare weekly batch payments
• Manage AR/AP inbox and address trade & supplier queries
• Oversee offshore Support staff and resolve invoice processing issues
• Prepare reconciliations for WIP, motor vehicle costs, debit card spend, and more

What do you need?

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting
• 2+ year experience in a similar accounting/finance role
• Experience with Xero and QuickBooks
• Property or construction industry experience is highly regarded
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
