About The Opportunity:

Joining us as our new Accountant, means you will be forming part of a small and experienced team of accounting professionals driving excellence in all aspects of general accounting. With strong focus on financial reporting, you will administer best practice accounting principles within our manufacturing group of companies.

Key responsibilities:

Oversee and execute end-of-month accounting activities, including financial reports, financial dashboards, journal entries, reconciliations and financial statement preparation and other various accounting responsibilities.

Conduct margin analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimisation.

Utilise advanced Excel skills to create detailed reports, dashboards, models, and forecasts.

Manage and analyse data using ERP software, including M1, to streamline financial operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Assist in the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls within the manufacturing finance unit.

Facilitate internal audits

About you:

CA or CPA required.

Sound experience in accounting with strong financial analytical and reporting abilities, ideally within a manufacturing environment

Strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manipulate and analyse large datasets

Familiarity with ERP software, particularly M1, is highly desirable

Experience within the manufacturing industry highly desirable

A demonstrated commitment to high professional and ethical standards and a diverse workplace

Excellent people skills, open to direction and a collaborative work style, and commitment to getting the job done

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Knowledge and experience in the use of key finance tools

Strong stakeholder management
