What you’ll be doing:
Join our team where you’ll lead sourcing activities, provide expert procurement advice, and support stakeholders to plan, develop, source, and manage procurement arrangements. Your work will ensure contracts meet organisational needs and deliver value for money, supporting the vital operations of the Rural Fire Service.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Experience in leading end to end strategic sourcing activities for a variety of key goods and services procurement categories.
- Understanding of legislative and Government Procurement requirements, experience in stakeholder relationship management and working with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead contract negotiations and influence outcomes with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Genuine appreciation and understanding of a volunteer-based community service.
