About the Role
As our new Senior Advisor, Strategic Communications, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering integrated communication strategies that support whole-of-government initiatives.
In this role, you will develop strategic, customer-centric communications, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and provide expert advice on high-priority and cross-sector issues. You'll join the NSW Government Strategic Communications team in the Community Engagement branch, part of the Delivery and Engagement Group - helping to ensure consistent, effective messaging across government.
Your work will directly inform decision-making, promote transparency, and enhance community engagement with NSW Government priorities.

We're Looking For
We're looking for a results-driven strategic communications professional with:
- Proven experience designing and delivering integrated, customer-focused communication strategies in complex government or large organisations
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and influence relationships across diverse internal and external partners, including senior executives
- Ability to analyse customer and stakeholder insights to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement
- Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects, often in high-pressure and politically sensitive environments
- Experience preparing clear, timely briefings and reports for senior executives and governance groups
- A proactive approach to identifying risks, championing innovation, and implementing best practices for improved outcomes
- Relevant professional experience and/or tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, marketing, or related fields are highly desirable.
