Hours: 8:45am – 5:15pm, flexibility available

The Role
A unique opportunity has become available for an Assurance & Compliance Manager to join a close-knit, high-performing team on a temporary basis. Reporting into the Group Executive for Advocacy and Professional Standards, you will play a vital role in managing the complaints and investigation process for professional members.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is confident managing sensitive information.
You will support tribunal matters, contribute to quality assurance efforts, and help bring structure and process back to this key compliance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage member complaints, investigations, and the associated processes
- Deal with compliance
- Respond to enquiries in line with the Member Code of Conduct
- Maintain accurate records and support administrative compliance tasks
- Assist with preparation and running of the Disciplinary Tribunal
- Draft investigation outcomes and contribute to reporting and quality improvements
The Ideal Candidate
You will bring a background in compliance, complaints handling, investigations, or professional conduct, ideally from a membership body, regulatory environment, or legal background.
You will also have:
- Qualifications in law, accounting, compliance, or a related field are highly desirable
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
- Confidence engaging with internal stakeholders and members
- Resilience and discretion when handling sensitive matters
- Previous experience in regulatory, legal, or professional standards environments
