Project Manager (Control Systems)

Project: Brownfield Mineral Processing Projects

Duration: 12 Months Initial Casual Contract

Key Responsibilities:

Provides leadership and mentorship to a multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed project team, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and training needs.

Establishes well-defined project objectives, including scope, schedule, productivity, and budget targets.

Oversees project execution by leveraging expertise in engineering, procurement, quality assurance, and related disciplines.

Manages all aspects of the customer contract to ensure effective oversight and successful project delivery.

Monitors project costs, schedules, and design deliverables, applying strong analytical skills to forecast trends and maintain gross margin performance.

Ensures proper change control processes are in place and demonstrates a solid understanding of contract terms, cash flow management, and financial reporting standards.

Qualifications:

Based in Portland, Victoria (or surrounding areas)

Bachelor of Engineering - Relevant Degree studies accredited by Engineers Australia.

Demonstrated project management experience in mining / mineral processing industries, leading small and medium projects or portions of large projects; EPCM, EPC including site assignments (projects up to US$5M to US$10M in total value).

Experience with Rockwell ContolLogix PLCs, Powerflex drives and ethernet IO.

Experience with PLC5 architecture would be highly regarded

Experience with AVEVA Plant CADA would be advantageous.
