An exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a dynamic team within a leading health organisation, where you'll play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and delivery of capital infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in construction, engineering, or project management who thrives in complex, stakeholder-rich environments.
About the Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end management of capital works projects - from design through to completion - ensuring they are delivered on time, to budget, and in line with organisational and regulatory standards. You will manage multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously, working closely with consultants, contractors, and key internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes that support patient care and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full project lifecycle including feasibility, design management, procurement, delivery, and close-out
- Coordinate consultants and contractors across multiple project stages
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and risk, while ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, health standards, and government regulations
- Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to drive engagement and ensure alignment with organisational objectives
- Prepare and present project reports, tracking performance against scope, budget, and timelines
- Champion a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement in project delivery
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering or similar
- Minimum 5 years' experience delivering complex capital works or facility infrastructure projects
- Strong capabilities in design coordination, contract administration, procurement, and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with health or aged care infrastructure highly desirable
- Strong working knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and compliance frameworks
- Ability to work across multiple sites and adapt to varying project scales and complexities
