Your Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in property or asset management-ideally within the social or community housing sector-to make a meaningful impact in a purpose-driven organisation.
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Manager - Asset Services to lead the delivery of high-quality asset and property management services across our housing portfolio. This leadership role is critical in ensuring our properties are safe, well-maintained, and meet the needs of tenants and the broader community.
As the Regional Manager, you will oversee planned and responsive maintenance programs, capital works projects, and compliance across all asset-related functions. You will lead a high-performing team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive service excellence, efficiency, and long-term asset sustainability.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Lead the development and implementation of asset management, including responsive, scheduled and planned maintenance
- Ensure all assets comply with regulatory, statutory and WHS requirements, including certifications for essential services
- Manage contracts to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service delivery that meets performance KPIs
- Monitor property condition and maintenance performance, delivering continuous improvement and risk mitigation
- Project management and maintaining and upgrading works from planning to completion
- Deliver on compliance, reports, budgets and develop strategies to ensure consistent standards
- Proactively manage a variety of key stakeholder relationships including funders and respond to escalated issues
- Actively contribute to developing and implementing strategies that connect tenants to additional support by participating in tenant feedback and managing informal and formal appeals and complaints.
Requirements for Success
- Extensive experience in social housing or community sector
- Tertiary qualification gained in social work, business, project management or related field and/or equivalent knowledge and skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Prior experience in leadership and operational management
- Ability to manage multiple projects often with conflicting deadlines
- Strong administration skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM package.
- Exceptional relationship management skills
- High-level customer service focus
- Driver's Licence
