Our client is a national provider of disability support, aged care, veterans’ services, community nursing, and child, youth and family support, delivering person-centred care across diverse communities.
About the role
WorkPac are seeking on behalf of our client a proactive and values-driven HR Business Partner to join a dynamic People & Culture team. In this role, you’ll act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, enhancing employee engagement, performance, and culture. With a focus on retention, inclusion, and data-informed HR practices, you’ll support a high-performance workplace and help drive key organisational outcomes. This is a temporary role with the potential for extension, offering hybrid work arrangements and an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute employee retention strategies
Conduct stay and exit interviews, and analyse feedback
Champion inclusive and engaging People & Culture initiatives
Support performance management and employee relations issues
Analyse people data to identify trends and improve practices
Advise on HR policies and ensure compliance with legislation
Build strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation
Skills and Experience Required
Proven HR experience in culture, engagement, or performance
Experience working in Social Care advantageous
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related discipline
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Analytical approach to using data for HR decision-making
High integrity, professionalism, and discretion
Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (if applicable)
Valid Driver’s Licence
Desirable
Familiarity with HRIS and performance management systems
Experience in Child Protection or Community Services sector
Passion for building inclusive, values-based workplaces
Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn
