About the Role

As our Accountant, you’ll be the financial backbone of our operations, helping us stay on track as we continue to deliver top-notch electronic solutions. From budgeting to strategic advice, you’ll work closely with our leadership to ensure our financial systems are as reliable as the services we provide.

Responsibilities

· Supporting the development of budgeting and accounting policies to enhance effective financial planning

· Compiling financial statements for review by boards of directors, management, shareholders, and regulatory authorities

· Performing financial analyses, generating reports, conducting audits, and providing guidance on matters like business acquisitions, mergers, capital funding, suspected fraud, insolvency, and tax issues

· Analyzing operational costs and the organization’s revenue and expenses to improve financial efficiency

· Ensuring the accuracy and regulatory compliance of financial reports

· Offering expert advice on taxation and financial strategies for business structures, plans, and operations

· Preparing tax returns for individuals and entities

· Collaborating with financial institutions and brokers to set up fund management arrangements

· Implementing and managing accounting systems, and recommending the selection and use of computer-based accounting tools

· Upholding internal control systems to protect assets and maintain operational accuracy

· Evaluating cash flow and financial risks associated with capital investment projects to guide strategic decision-making

What We’re Looking For

· Relevant qualifications in Accounting

· At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within manufacturing or electronics industries

· Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation laws, and financial reporting requirements

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar) and advanced Excel skills

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities

· Proven track record in audits, budgeting, and financial advisory services

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
