Just Squeezed Fruit Juices Pty Ltd is a HACCP-certified, SGS-audited juice manufacturing company with a strong reputation for supplying high-quality, natural juices to hospitals, schools, aged care facilities, and hospitality clients across Victoria, Western Australia, and South Australia.

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced General Accountant to support our constantly growing operations, including our regional unit in Shepparton, which plays a crucial role in sourcing and processing fresh citrus produce from Goulburn Valley growers. This is a critical and ongoing role in setting up our regional financial systems, ensuring ongoing compliance and reporting. As the company’s sole accountant, the successful candidate will also be responsible for managing and overseeing the full scope of accounting operations at our central office in Campbellfield remotely, ensuring financial consistency and accuracy across both locations. This position also plays a strategic role as the business strengthens its regional base and gradually expands into Northern Victoria and New South Wales.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING ON BOARD

• A degree or higher qualification in accounting. Additional qualifications or knowledge in Business or Commerce will be highly regarded.

• At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in an accounting role within the juice or beverage manufacturing sector, or a similar high-compliance food processing industry.

• More than 2 years demonstrated proficiency in advanced level using both MYOB EXO (ERP SYSTEM) and MYOB AccountRight - including setup, reporting, inventory tracking, and cost centre management within the system.

• Proven ability to work in multi-site operations, particularly regional sites with independent supply chain challenges and cost-centre reporting needs.

• Strong analytical, reporting, and business systems capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES - will perform the following vital tasks but not limited to:

· Prepare accurate and timely financial reports to support management decision-making at both regional and head office levels.

· Preparation and review of annual budgets and rolling financial forecasts, including analysis of variances and reporting to senior management.

· Monitor and improve internal controls, cash handling, inventory processes, and accounting procedures to ensure compliance with current accounting standards and operational needs.

· Conduct daily monitoring of cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for business commitments and production cycles.

· Prepare and lodge BAS and support other ATO-related reporting and tax compliance requirements.

· Reconcile and maintain the fixed asset register, including depreciation tracking and inventory controls across multiple locations.

· Analyse company performance, cash flow position, and financial health, providing strategic insights to support taxation, purchasing, and financing decisions.

· Oversee daily accounting functions, including full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation.

· Deliver monthly and quarterly KPI reports, financial dashboards, and operational summaries to assist the Managing Director.

· Maintain accurate product costing and ensure pricing reflects current raw material, freight, and labour inputs.

· Reconcile business bank accounts and resolve accounting discrepancies across sites.

· Manage and maintain the accuracy and integrity of MYOB EXO and AccountRight systems, including financial databases and reports.

Additional Scope – Goulburn Valley Region:

· Willingness to travel for as required

· The successful candidate will work primarily from Shepparton, supporting the company’s expansion into the Goulburn Valley.

· Hands-on responsibility for grower payments, operational costing, supplier reconciliation, and reporting tailored to the needs of the Shepparton-based unit.

· The candidate must be flexible conducting cross-operational financial activities
