Bayside Smiles is a family focused dental practice located in Moorabbin and Black Rock.

Our care is centered around longevity and helping our patients achieve optimal health. Most of all – we treat our patients and staff as family.

Our practices are modern, well maintained and utilise a lot of technology including digital scanning and 3D Printing. A range of services are offered including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, implants, orthodontics and aligners and we closely collaborate with a team of specialists.

About the Role

Our front desk superstars are the faces of our practices. Our patients love to connect with our team and have formed strong relationships with many of our front desk team over the years. Typical tasks include:

Greeting patients and making them feel welcome.

Managing phone calls.

Managing the appointment books utilising D4W.

Managing billings utilising HICAPS.

Administrative tasks.

Assisting with sterilisation when necessary.

Assisting patients and dentists with treatment plans.

About You

You are friendly, bubbly and love interacting with people.

You are looking to develop long term relationships with patients and the practice team.

You bring a “can do” attitude to all that you do. You appreciate your team helping you and then reciprocating the favour when they need help.

You are focused on excellent customer service and always looking for ways to improve.

Skills and Experience

A certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is ideal with a sound knowledge of dentistry and procedures.

You have a working knowledge of sterilisation procedures and infection control.

You are a fast learner, adaptable and open to learning new skills.
