About the role

As the Autodesk Manufacturing Software Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the innovative design and engineering solutions offered by Design Consulting Pty Ltd.

This fulltime position is remote and for providing expert guidance and technical assistance to our clients in the manufacturing, design and engineering sector, however, applicants with experience with those sectors and in addition electrical, architecture, construction, visualisation and software development will have favourable consideration.

What you'll be doing

Provide comprehensive training, support, setup and consulting for Autodesk Inventor, Inventor CAM, Inventor Nesting, Inventor FEA and Nastran, Fusion, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical manufacturing software products.

Work closely with clients to understand their unique business requirements and tailor software configurations and workflows to optimise productivity and efficiency

CAD/BIM Templates and Libraries

iLogic Design Automation

Electrical Schematics Design

Pre-Sales Consulting

Post-Sales Support

Contractor Services (Design, Drafting, FEA)

Conduct demonstrations and proof-of-concept trials to showcase the capabilities of Autodesk manufacturing software

Troubleshoot software issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure seamless operations for clients

Collaborate with the wider Design Consulting team to identify opportunities for process improvements and new technology implementations

Stay up-to-date with the latest Autodesk product roadmap and industry trends to provide strategic advice to clients

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (5+ years) working with Autodesk manufacturing software solutions, including Inventor, Fusion 360, Vault and related products

Strong technical expertise in Inventor CAD/CAM/FEA software and the ability to analyse complex design and engineering challenges

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and provide hands-on training

A thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management and Industry 4.0 principles

Tertiary qualification in engineering, design or a related technical discipline

Willingness to travel to client sites as required

Any additional experience in these areas will have favourable consideration
