About the role
An exceptional opportunity has become available for a Precision Technology Specialist to join a global OEM in the agricultural machinery sector. This is a remote role where you will primarily work from your home office and travel extensively throughout the dealer network. Ideally, you will be based anywhere between Esperance and Geraldton to effectively service the region.
You will be the go-to expert for cutting-edge precision technology, responsible for empowering the dealer network. This role is pivotal in ensuring dealerships and customers alike understand the immense value these systems bring to modern farming operations, enhancing efficiency and on-farm decision-making. You will be instrumental in driving the adoption and success of market-leading agricultural technology.
Role responsibilities include:
- Deliver structured product training and education to dealership staff.
- Act as the precision technology expert at dealer events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Support the dealer network to identify and develop aftermarket sales opportunities.
- Provide vital feedback on market trends and future product needs.
- Conduct analysis of competitor technology and market offerings.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a technical field or equivalent industry experience in precision farming. Possess hands-on experience with leading precision brands such as Raven, Topcon, Trimble or similar systems.
- The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Previous field experience with an OEM or at a dealership is highly regarded.
Previous exposure to Agricultural and Farming Machinery in a retail or wholesale environment would be advantageous for this position. Candidates who have experience with brands such as John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Claas, Kubota, Deutz or similar are strongly encouraged to apply.
