About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic WA Account Manager to lead sales growth across Western Australia. You will promote and sell a diverse product portfolio designed for heavy machinery in mining, construction, quarrying, and broadacre farming environments. This role is field-based and will focus on identifying new business opportunities, expanding relationships with existing clients, and delivering tailored solutions to contractors, dealers, and rural operators. Key duties include:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the mining, construction, quarry, and agricultural sectors.
- Build strong relationships with contractors, OEMs, equipment dealers, hire companies, and farmers.
- Conduct site visits to assess equipment needs and recommend appropriate product solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
- Maintain a structured sales pipeline and achieve set revenue and activity targets.
- Provide market intelligence by monitoring competitor activity and customer feedback.
- Represent the company at trade shows, field days, and industry events to generate leads and build brand awareness.
Candidate Criteria
- Proven business development or technical sales experience in mining, construction, agricultural, or industrial sectors.
- Strong product knowledge of wear components such as GET, tracks, pads, or undercarriage systems is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage a large territory and travel regularly.
- CRM proficiency and strong pipeline management capability.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand customer pain points and provide practical solutions.
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
