Estimator – Fabrication (pressing/rolling/fabrication)

Thomas Fabrication are looking for an Estimator with the following:

· Demonstrated capability in quoting, project tendering, estimating scheduling & planning for industrial or commercial fabrication, manufacturing, mining equipment or related manufacturing environment.

· Reporting, monthly KPI’s and sales results

· Compiling & responding technical queries on tenders and quotes, job card info and QA/QC requirements for materials

· Experience with Microsoft office, and enterprise software such as SimPro, SAP or other related sales-based programs

· Operating/maintaining various CNC press brake and rolling equipment, tooling and associated equipment preferred, but not essential.

· Able to read and notate mechanical & fabrication detailed drawings, including 3D designs, bill of materials and material take-offs for estimating, including development drawings and step files.

· Experience in fabrication techniques - pressing, rolling and welding in mining, construction & transport industry.

· Maintain client relationships and industry network.

· Advising the production supervisor planning schedules

· Honesty, integrity and effective communication skills
