At Viral Vector Manufacturing Facility (VVMF), we’re building something special — Australia’s first commercial viral vector manufacturing facility (CDMO), right in the heart of the country’s largest health and innovation precinct in Westmead. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Inventory and Materials Handler to join our team and help ensure the smooth flow of materials that support our advanced therapeutic production.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role reporting the the Supply Chain and Logistics Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing inventory movement, maintaining accurate records, and supporting safe and compliant warehousing practices. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure materials are received, stored, and delivered efficiently and safely.

Your responsibilities will include:

Receiving, inspecting, and storing materials.

Maintaining inventory records and performing audits.

Supporting warehouse operations and using ERP systems.

Ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards.

Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

What We’re Looking For

You're someone who’s reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

You’ll bring:

As a guide 2+ years’ experience in warehouse operations or inbound logistics.

Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory control procedures.

Experience using manual handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).

Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.

A commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Experience in a cGMP or manufacturing environment is a bonus, but not essential.
