Administration Officer (AO) ​ Women's Museum of Australia and Old Gaol ​

Location: Alice Springs, NT ​

Part-Time Role ​ Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year + Super + Time in Lieu ​

Are you ready to make a difference in the community while enjoying a balanced work-life schedule? ​ The Women’s Museum of Australia and Old Gaol (WMoA) is seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join our team. ​

About Us: The WMoA is a dynamic museum that celebrates the contributions of Australian women to our heritage and showcases the history of incarceration at the heritage-listed Old Gaol. ​ Our team of staff and volunteers work together to educate, inspire, and empower visitors through engaging exhibits and programs. ​

About the Role: As the Administration Officer, you will play a key role in the preservation and growth of the museum. ​ Your responsibilities will include:

Marketing and volunteer coordination ​

Daily administration and shop management ​

Event and project management ​

Grant application opportunities and fundraising initiatives ​

Membership growth and program development ​

What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking applicants with:

Strong administrative experience ​

Effective oral and written communication skills ​

Knowledge of customer experience and computer literacy (MS Office, social media, website management) ​

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail ​

Ability to work in a team and assist with events/functions ​

Requirements:

NT Working with Children Check (Ochre Card) ​

Safe NT National Police Check ​

Work Schedule:

Part-time: Tuesday to Saturday (5 days per week, 7 hours per day) ​
