Location: Yarra Valley–based office with hybrid working
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000 base + uncapped commission (Realistic OTE $100,000–$140,000)
Work Style: Hybrid – mix of office, field, and work-from-home

About Us:
We’re a growing [industry – e.g. commercial cleaning / HVAC / facilities services] company based in the beautiful Yarra Valley, known for getting the job done properly and building solid relationships with our clients. As we expand, we’re looking for a motivated, confident and personable Business Development Executive to help us grow our client base and keep existing customers happy.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll be out there generating new leads, locking in deals, and staying connected with clients to ensure they’re getting top-notch service. It’s a mix of business development and account management, with plenty of autonomy and flexibility in your week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors
• Build and manage long-term relationships with new and existing clients
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and client meetings
• Prepare and follow up on quotes, proposals, and tenders
• Use drone technology to assist with site inspections and quoting (training provided)
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless handover and delivery
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM system
• Represent the business at networking events or industry functions as needed
Your Week at a Glance:
• 2–3 days in our Yarra Valley office (collaborating, strategising, planning)
• 2–3 days in the field (visiting sites, meeting clients)
• Work-from-home options available for admin or proposal work
• Monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO)
What You Bring:
• Proven experience in either sales, business development or account management
• Strong communication, a natural ability to build rapport quickly and strong with relationship building skills
• Confidence in preparing and presenting proposals
• A proactive, self-driven mindset
• Industry experience in cleaning, trades, HVAC or related services (bonus)
• Current driver’s licence (essential) and your own reliable transport
