The Company
Celltec is a specialist engineering company involved in the design and manufacture of safety guarding and access control solutions within the logistics and manufacturing industries.
With a focus on safety and automation, our design projects include industrial safety guarding, automated machinery and robotics.
You will be an integral part of a small team providing standard and custom solutions to a wide variety of customers.
This role involves developing strategic sales plans, conducting market research, and collaborating with technical specialists to ensure customer satisfaction.
Position Description:
Business Development Representative:
Develop and execute a growth strategy aligned with revenue targets.
Identify and qualify new business opportunities and establish contact with potential customers.
Conduct customer meetings to understand their current and future needs.
Customer Account Management:
Create and maintain customer account plans to meet revenue targets.
Conduct site visits and maintain relationships with customers.
Support the market launch of new products and ensure their integration into designated accounts.
Produce regular sales reports.
Sales and Solution Development:
Develop customer solutions.
Present products and services to customers.
Prepare and submit proposals, follow up to close sales, and negotiate pricing.
Maintain communication with stakeholders during implementation and assist with technical issue resolution.
About you
A practical, mechanically minded person with small business experience is preferred.
Proven sales experience in a related industry, with success in building relationships.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales plans, for primarily new business development as well as customer account management.
Experience in the Industrial Safety, Automation or related industries.
A working knowledge of the Australian Standard AS4024 in relation to safety guarding and controls.
Strong problem-solving and negotiating skills.
