We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Executive Chef to lead the culinary direction across a group of well-established and iconic western Coastal venues, all located along Perth’s stunning oceanfront. Each venue is renowned for quality, creativity, and offering a distinctive dining experience – from modern Australian coastal fare to innovative fusion menus.
As the Executive Chef for the group, you will be the driving force behind our kitchen operations across multiple high-volume venues. This is a leadership &hands on role for someone who is passionate about food, thrives in dynamic environments, and can mentor and inspire large teams while managing kitchen performance at a strategic level.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all culinary operations across multiple venues, ensuring consistency, creativity, and quality in every dish.
Lead, manage, and mentor Head Chefs and kitchen teams to maintain high standards of execution and professionalism.
Drive innovation in menu development, aligning each venue’s food offering with its unique identity while ensuring seasonal and cost-effective practices.
Manage and maintain food costings, GP targets, stock control, and supplier relationships across all venues.
Collaborate with General manager ,operations manger , Venue Managers, and Front of House leadership to ensure seamless kitchen and service synergy.
Implement and maintain food safety, OH&S, and hygiene standards in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
Recruit, train, and develop high-performing kitchen staff, fostering a positive and accountable team culture.
Coordinate group-wide events, menu launches, and promotional activities.
Regularly visit all venues to ensure standards are being upheld and staff are supported.
About You:
Proven experience in an Executive Chef or multi-venue Head Chef role (5+ years), ideally within high-volume venues .
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and inspire a team culture of excellence.
Deep understanding of kitchen financials, including cost control, margins, supplier negotiations, and labour management.
Creative flair and an understanding of modern food trends, seasonal produce, and customer expectations in a competitive dining market.
Strong time management, multitasking, and organisational skills.
Professional, calm under pressure, and solution-oriented.
