About the role:
This is more than just another supply chain role. You'll play a hands-on role in ensuring the right materials - including high-impact, small-volume components - are available exactly when needed. You will drive short-term production scheduling, supplier coordination, and inbound logistics, and directly influence our >95% DIFOT target and broader manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- Plan and maintain a rolling 5-day production schedule for 15+ batches/day
- Procure raw materials, packaging, and specialty high impact components
- Manage inventory, buffer stock, and resolve slow/excess stock issues
- Coordinate inbound international shipments, customs, and 3PL logistics
- Liaise daily with production and customer service to align demand and supply
- Track supplier performance, lead times, and purchasing workflows
- Use data (Excel, EXONET, planning tools) to inform decisions and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards
What You'll Bring
- 2-3 years' experience in procurement, planning, or supply chain within a manufacturing, chemical, or pharma setting
- Proven ability to align procurement with production goals
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data
- Understanding of international shipping and regulatory compliance
- Confident working across all levels - from factory floor to senior managers
- Experience in SME environments where adaptability and initiative are key
