The Role

We're looking for a dedicated Purchasing Officer to join our passionate team. This is a vital role supporting our production line by ensuring the timely and accurate ordering, organisation, and availability of parts and materials. You’ll work closely with our Warehouse Controller and Production Planner to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently—helping us maintain our reputation for outstanding quality.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure stock is ordered correctly, on time, and defect-free

Manage inventory and maintain accurate records using systems like MYOB and Excel

Collaborate with internal teams to meet production schedules

Ensure costeffectiveness in purchasing decisions

Maintain an organised and clean work area

Adhere to company policies, including OH&S standards

Participate in production meetings and supplier coordination

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience in stock management and inventory control

✅ Strong organisational and computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, MYOB)

✅ Familiarity with steel products and both imperial & metric measurements

✅ Ability to interpret CAD drawings and Bills of Materials

✅ A proactive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work unsupervised

✅ Commitment to safety, quality, and continual improvement
